Sir Alex Ferguson says he is satisfied by the way his young Manchester United team played in Turkey. United fielder an inexperienced side for the trip to Galatasaray and Ferguson says he was happy with the performance despite United losing the match 1-0 thanks to sloppy defending.
Manchester United defender Phil Jones has revealed his delight at returning to first team action. Jones started in the defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League but has spoken of his relief of being over an injury which kept him out of the side for a staggering six months.
Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick says he is impressed by the way Phil Jones has handled a return to the first team. Carrick has described the impressive way that Jones has got himself back into first team training and into contention for a regular starting place in the side.
Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard says he is disappointed by the current losing streak of the side. United have lost back-to-back games against Norwich City and Galatasaray where Lindegaard has been in the side deputising for David De Gea who has just had his wisdom teeth removed.

United gave appearances to a number of younger players in the Champions League match and Ferguson has insisted the younger members of the squad provide valuable cover for the higher profile players.
Manchester United youth player Josh King has made a loan move to Blackburn Rovers. King made his debut for United in the Champions League defeat away at Galatasaray and he has been sent out on loan to gain further first team experience over the course of the season.
Manchester United fans have reacted positively to the performance of youngster Nick Powell. Many fans praised his performance via social media network Twitter as he played a starring role in United’s defeat away to Galatasaray in the Champions League. Powell joined the club from Crewe over the summer.
Speculation surrounding a Manchester United move for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman has fired up once again. United have been linked with a £14 million bid for the player with the Dutch club thought to be holding out for a much higher price for their star player.
