Queens Park Rangers fans will be a little bit annoyed today after their owner has said he will jump ship and sell the club if they are relegated at the end of the season.
It seems the biggest issue that many QPR fans hold with their owner is the amount of cash the club has spent on a high turnaround of players for literally no results.
There also seem to be some fans who feel slightly aggrieved over the departure of former boss Mark Hughes for the apparent saviour, Harry Redknapp, who has not dramatically transformed the fortunes of the team.
Fernandes used his Twitter account to claim that if the worst was to happen, he would be the first to walk away from the side.
"We will fix It. I'm still optimistic. Many fans attacking me. Doing our best.
"As I said we won't stop trying. As I have said many times I take all responsibility and will face the music. Always spirit up. If can't fix it I will be first to go."
This may please certain QPR fans but it does sound out the completely wrong message to supporters that he is not prepared to dig in for the long haul at QPR if things just continue to get worse.
Fernandes would use the fact he’s being constantly attack by a small percentage of QPR fans as his justification to leave, but his departure could do more harm than good.
Any potential new owner will look at the situation at the end of the season and IF QPR are relegated, that new owner will have an immense financial burden to bear both personally and in a business sense.
Redknapp himself has said the club pays certain players too much but this hasn’t stopped them from poaching key players from beneath the noses of other clubs.
Any new owner would face having to make a substantial level of cuts and if Fernandes goes, it’s highly likely that Redknapp would also leave rather than managing in the Championship for less money.
It effectively means QPR go straight back to square one in terms of where they want to be and what they are trying to achieve.
At least if Fernandes stays, then the club retains some stability, retains an owner that has a good basic grasp of business but it seems the fan pressure will make him abandon ship.
Calling all QPR fans! Do you want Fernandes to stay or go?
