Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Galatasaray, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Hoffenheim and Mainz all feature.
Didier Drogba has become the latest big name player to reportedly be on his way to Turkish side Galatasaray. Following on from the recent acquisition of Wesley Sneijder the Ivorian striker only recently signed for Shanghai Shenhua after leaving Chelsea last summer but internal strife at the club has seen both he and Nicolas Anelka looking to leave China as soon as possible. While AC Milan were believed to be very interested in a move it now seems that Turkey is his main option with the club confident a deal is very much a possibility.
The potential for Inter Milan to bring Paulinho into the club has risen with the sale of Phillipe Coutinho to Liverpool apparently imminent. The Brazilian international is reportedly valued at £15 million by his current club Corinthians and the combined influx of cash from both the Coutinho and Sneijder deals could fund a move. Inter Milan team manager Ivan Cordoba was speaking today of his admiration for Paulinho which will only stoke the flames of a potential signing.
Napoli have made an audacious bid to sign AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy; which has been instantly denied by Silvio Berlusconi. The offer, said to be in the region of €30 million, was with the intention of partnering the Italian international with current front-line striker Edinson Cavani and also as a potential replacement if the Uruguayan decided to leave the club this summer.
Napoli are also reportedly in the hunt for another of AC Milan’s star players as discussions between the two clubs over the sale of Antonio Nocerino continue. It is believed that former Bolton Wanderers player Blerim Dzemaili would go in the opposite direction however Nocerino himself has denied he wants a move to his hometown club.
New Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez has spoken of his joy at the move after completing a deal from Sevilla over the weekend. The stopper has arrived at The Bernabeu as cover for the injured Iker Casillas; who is out for 12 weeks with a broken hand.
Bringing some news from over the weekend now and Hoffenheim have signed Eugen Polanski from Mainz. The Poland international has signed a deal until 2015 and he today expressed his wish to help the team fight off relegation from the Bundesliga.
