Tottenham dropped points at Carrow Road last night, but it could have been so much worse. They drew 1-1 courtesy of Gareth Bale's strike, but at one stage it had appeared as though they would lose the game.
In addition to that, rivals Arsenal also dropped points at home to Liverpool, meaning they did not make up any ground on fourth placed Spurs, although Everton courtesy of their win did narrow the gap to one point.
Another plus for Tottenham was the fact Chelsea dropped points late on at Reading, although their struggle along with Arsenal's will only highlight Tottenham's draw as a missed opportunity for Andre Villas-Boas side.
The main positive however for Tottenham fans was undoubtedly getting to see newboy Lewis Holtby for the very first time.
He came off the bench for the final 19 minutes against Norwich, replacing Clint Dempsey in the hole behind Jermain Defoe.
In his time on the pitch he touched the ball 26 times - one more than Defoe did the whole game - and only 12 times less than Clint Dempsey (36) who had played in the same position for 71 minutes.
He made 24 passes - the same as Dempsey, and also picked up a booking just eight minutes into his debut, but crucially - Tottenham scored their equaliser nine minutes after he came on.
But what did fans make of his cameo debut? We took to Twitter to gauge the reaction...
@corrie_yido: Larl man crush over Lewis Holtby, great 25 minutes and should deffo start against WBA
@williamthomasj: Holtby looked excellent when introduced today, definitely changed the game. Looks dynamic, skillful and busy in midfield. Prospect for
@ellisthfc: I'm actually very happy with that point, I actually love Holtby, will be our best signing since Bale.
@pitbullthfc: Why we waited till 70min to bring on Holtby I will never know
@ajsturt: very impressed by Holtby, its amazing how much better we played when one player actually wants it. He's going to be a star.
What did you think of Holtby's time on the pitch? Should he start away to West Brom at the weekend?
