Tottenham have had a busy day, but a relatively unproductive one.
Here are the strikers linked with signing for Tottenham early in the day: Lisandro Lopez, Bafetimbi Gomis, Alvaro Negredo and Leandro Damiao.
In fact as late on as 8pm, Sky Sports News reported that Spurs were doing 'everything in their power' to convince Internacional to sell, reported to have made a £17 million bid.
However the move failed, appearing as though the club simply left it too late to make their protracted move. Internactional were open to sell 'at the right price', but the two clubs could not agree a fee.
So with no players brought in - aside from Lewis Holtby and Ezekiel Fryers earlier in the window - what else went on at White Hart Lane?
Well there were a number of exits, permanent and loan. Here are the headlines.
- Jermaine Jenas to QPR (permanent)
- Andros Townsend loan to QPR
- Alex Pritchard loan to Peterborough
- Ryan Mason loan to Lorient
- Heurelho Gomes loan to Hoffenheim
- Simon Dawkins loan to Aston Villa
- Tomislav Gomelt loan to Espanyol
Despite being linked with moves away to QPR and Fulham; David Bentley and Tom Huddlestone remain Tottenham players.
What do you think of Tottenham's deadline business?
