Sony may have just revealed when it plans to talk about the next PlayStation with a trailer that teases a February 20th announcement.
Following a tweet by the company, inviting gamers to “see the future”, Sony posted a vague video of the famed PlayStation controller icons and a website inviting people to “be the first to know” by submitting their e-mail.
While this could all be some PR ruse, the tweet, video and website come shortly after speculation hit fever pitch, with rumoured release dates and specifications for the PlayStation 4 making their way online.
However, Sony boss Kazuo Hirai recently claimed that the company planned to wait on Microsoft to make the first move in the next-generation race before revealing its new machine.
"Why go first, when your competitors can look at your specifications and come up with something better?” he asked.
