Hardcore gamers will soon be able to enjoy Facebook games along the same lines as FarmVille fans do, with the release of 10 titles targeting their particular tastes.
Jumping into the fray first, Dave Jones-helmed nWay has pulled the curtain back to reveal ChronoBlade, a beat-'em-up with RPG elements.

Jones was the mastermind of the popular Grand Theft Auto series and, later, the online-flop APB, which dragged the developer into disaster.
However, this comeback seems to be a strong one, with the upcoming game set to push browser-based Facebook gaming to its limit.
"First of all, what comes is, 'Wow, I had no idea you could actually do a game of this quality on Facebook,'" Jones told Reuters.
Sean Ryan, head of game partnerships at Facebook, added: "You'll see a whole set of games hitting in the next two quarters in particular and throughout the year that really start to redefine what people think of Facebook games."
However, casual gaming fans shouldn’t be dismayed, the social-networking giant isn't about to abandon its more family friendly titles.
Ryan stressed that the company was looking to embrace a wide variety of game genres, from "casual all the way up through first-person shooters, massively multiplayer online games, real-time strategy games - all those types of more core player-versus-player games."
