Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina was the villain of the piece at the weekend against Manchester City when his hesitance allowed Sergio Aguero to hit an equaliser from the most unlikely of angles.
The Spaniard has been inconsistent this season for Liverpool, but he seems reluctant to admit it.
In an interview with Spanish newspaper Marca published today, the stopper has said he is not unhappy with his form.
He said: "It's been a strange season for me because I've missed lots of games with injury. Some people say I've had a bad season, but honestly I think I only had three poor matches, at the beginning of the year."
Reina went onto point to a transitional time under a new manager to the side's inconsistent results this season.
He also claims Liverpool can't compete with the spending power of Manchester City and Chelsea, adding they face a tough fight to claim a Champions League spot.
