Chilean newspaper La Tercera has reported that Chelsea are in advanced negotiations to sign 17-year-old Cristian Cuevas.
Cuevas is an under-20 international for his country, who plays for O'Higgins, a Chilean top flight club.
He is a left-footed midfielder who likes to play on the wing and drift inside, and is a skilful dribbler of the ball.
The news has been verified by Sky Sports, with the player's agent confirming an offer from the Blues had been made.
Work permit complications could mean Cuevas is loaned back to his club if a deal is reached, or more likely loaned out to another European side.
This is clearly one to watch, Cuevas looks like a real talent. Check him out in action below...
