The FA Cup yet again produced its fair share of shock results this Saturday with the lower league opposition putting up substantial fights against their more illustrious rivals. For Arsene Wenger it was truly a day to forget. With their hopes of winning a trophy this season seemingly resting on a win in the competition a home tie with Blackburn Rovers should have been a non-precarious and comfortable victory and subsequent advancement into the final eight. Unfortunately despite dominating possession The Gunners could not get a telling goal and Colin Kazim-Richards’ strike proved solitary as the Championship play-off chasers completed a stunning upset.
As for Everton things didn’t go much better. There terrible record against Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup continued as they conceded a late equaliser from Matt Smith to condemn them to a replay at Goodison Park; not something David Moyes will be looking forward to.
So while both managers had a quite forgettable day at the office much of the talk on Twitter did centre on the two of them; in particular the potential of bringing in Moyes to replace Wenger. Many believe that Wenger’s potential eight years without a trophy will be an unforgiveable feat this summer and with Moyes out of contract at Everton and reportedly frustrated with his financial shackles at Goodison Park.
Although some have been quick to point out all that Wenger has done for the North London club in the past; while also duly noting the fact Moyes has not won a trophy at Everton in his ten seasons at the club.
Here is what has been said on Twitter…
Wenger should resign and let the club move forward, Moyes could do the job

Wenger & Moyes have both said they will decide on their futures in the Summer. I prefer Wenger but if he decides to go get Moyes. #AFC

Moyes? He's a decent manager, but I hope Wenger leaves us with enough credibility to do better. Doubt it though.

Moyes isn't the man to replace Wenger we need someone of same philosophy, Moyes would need to change to much.
