Aliens: Colonial Marines has broken into the UK charts at number one, according to figures provided by Chart-Track.
The shooter displaced EA's own alien horror FPS Dead Space 3, which dropped one place to number two.

Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed III crept back into the top ten, climbing six places to come in at number six this week.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted remained in seventh place, just as Just Dance 4 held onto eighth.
However, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed climbed one place to ninth and Halo 4 returned to the top ten to close off the chart.
