They will be a little nervous and the fans may be expecting a thumping but Bradford can win this match if they do a few basic things well.
The wins against Arsenal and Aston Villa were largely enabled by a great deal of togetherness and belief. It’s important that every experienced member in that side makes sure that everyone believes they can pull it off.
They need to press high up the pitch and show a lot of energy throughout the 90 minutes. They cannot try and conserve anything, playing for added time or penalties because they will get picked off down this route.
A high press and keeping pressure up without possession is important. Swansea are a side that like to pass the ball out from the back and it’s more difficult for them to do that if Bradford press high up the pitch.
They need to make the most of set pieces because they have some tall and physically imposing players who have been effective in these situations.
If Bradford can pick up a few free kicks in good positions and get decent deliveries into the penalty area then they may just nick a goal or two which could be the difference over the 90 minutes.
The thing they need which will take care of itself is the support from the fans. They need backing and they need every Bradford supporter in Wembley to make as much noise as they can.
The effect this has is it inspires the players, especially later into the game when they may start to get a bit tired and lose a little bit of concentration.
Finally, Bradford need a bit of luck because they are playing one of the best passing teams in the Premier League and a side that got thumped 5-0 in their last match.
Swansea will be going all out not to make the mistakes that Arsenal and Aston Villa produced so Bradford are going to need one or two key decisions to go in their favour for them to win this final.
Do you think Bradford have any chance?
