Here are five players who may or may not be in action this weekend....
Daniel Sturridge
Liverpool could be without Daniel Sturridge for their match at the DW Stadium against Wigan on Saturday evening. Brendan Rodgers yesterday confirmed he is struggling with a knock he picked up over a month ago which is still troubling him, and he will undergo a late fitness test, but Brendan Rodgers may decide not to risk aggravating the injury further/
Abou Diaby
Arsene Wenger has stated that Abou Diaby is an 'uncertainty' to play against Tottenham. The fact the game is a 4pm kick-off on Sunday gives the Frenchman extra time to recover and he too will undergo late tests, with his manager rating him just above 50:50.
Robin van Persie
Robin van Persie is not expected to start for United against Norwich after an unusual injury sustained by a television camera at Loftus Road. The Dutchman is unlikely to be risked by Sir Alex Ferguson with Real Madrid on the horizon, but could play a role from the bench.
Mark Noble
West Ham midfielder Mark Noble was taken off against Tottenham on Monday night and it has been claimed he has a trapped nerve in his shoulder. The chances of him being available are currently doubtful, while teammate Kevin Nolan is definitely out of the match with Stoke due to a broken toe.
Gareth Barry
It remains uncertain as to whether Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry will be available for their Monday night clash with former club Aston Villa. The 32-year-old has not played since the 3-1 loss to Southampton where he picked up an ankle injury, and while he is said to be nearing a recovery, his availability for the Villa game is to be determined.
Which of these five do you expect to be fit?
