Bayern Munich are among teams to have been previously linked with his signature, with Tottenham also claimed to be in the running by Sky Sports.

However with rumours persisting over Bacary Sagna's potential exit this summer, coupled with Arsene Wenger's tendency to sign players from Ligue One, Arsenal appear to be a better fit than Spurs, who have Kyle Walker as first choice.

Despite having Carl Jenkinson available, Arsenal are likely to buy competition for him this summer and the talented Corchia fits the bill.
