Aston Villa have secured one more win at home than they have done on the road with a current record of three wins, four draws and six defeats at Villa Park. Villa have been showing signs of improvement but they have been inconsistent so far this month with a draw against Everton, a win against West Ham and a defeat to Arsenal.

Manchester City’s away form is what has let them down so far, they have only lost two matches but it’s the draw tally of five which has pegged them back. They have the joint best defence away from home with 13 goals conceded but all the other sides in the top four have scored more.
