Liverpool could go after Antonio Cassano this summer if they decide they need a front man. Luis Suarez is expected to stay at the club ahead of next season but there is plenty of talk across various media sources that the Inter Milan player could be on his way to the Premier League.

The dismissal of former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish cost the Anfield club around £10 million in compensation. The recently published set of accounts have revealed the figure, which has gone a long way to adding and generating extensive debt at the club.
