Liverpool are going for their fourth win on the bounce when they take on Southampton in the Premier League this weekend. Liverpool have put together a perfect run of form so far in March as they look to mount a late push for fourth place and Champions League football.
Daniel Sturridge will be on the bench to face Southampton this weekend but is aiming to play a vital role over the rest of the season. Sturridge is struggling with a leg problem he has been carrying for the last few weeks but has revealed he’s not too far away from a return to starting first team action.
Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino has talked up Liverpool play maker Philippe Coutinho ahead of the Premier League clash this weekend. The Saints’ Argentinian boss has suggested that Coutinho is one of the players his side will target to stop Liverpool winning the match.

The Liverpool boss has suggested that his side will be ready to take full advantage of any slip ups from the London based clubs to cause what would be Rodgers’ best achievement as manager.
Everton have become the latest side linked with a move for high profile midfielder Keisuke Honda. Honda has been linked with a move from CSKA Moscow to the Premier League with both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool apparently the leading favourites to sign him this summer.
Liverpool face a fight if they want to land Lyon defender Dejan Lovren. Lovren is being courted by AC Milan as well as Liverpool, with both clubs reportedly ready to make a decent offer to the player this summer in order to get him to make the transfer from France.
Former Liverpool player and club legend Jan Molby has praised Stewart Downing for his recent run of form. Molby has suggested that Downing deserves all of the praise and attention he receives for turning his form around at the club when it looked almost certain that they would sell him.
Philippe Coutinho has returned the praise which has been given to him by Liverpool teammates. He has insisted that he’s only been allowed to settle quickly at the club because of the other high profile stars at the club such as captain Steven Gerrard and striker Luis Suarez.
Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he will not be sending Suso and Raheem Sterling out on loan. Several press reports had suggested that the duo would be sent on loan for the rest of the season, as they have recently been dropped into the Liverpool Development squad to play with the Under-21s.
