How a 'little shaved bird with earrings' got Cristiano Ronaldo over 40,000 retweets this week!

Cristiano Ronaldo Goal

A look at the social interactions of Joey Barton, Cristiano Ronaldo and their contrasting views on the musical interpretations of Canadian pop Prince Justin Bieber.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of, if not the most, famous footballer in the world and whatever the Portuguese does will always receive plenty of attention; but 42,000 re-tweets!

What on earth did he do to create such a massive storm online? To give you a little taster of just how many people that is it is roughly the same as the population of Liechtenstein!

So what did he do?

Post a naked picture of himself? Ball-room dance with Lionel Messi? Punch a baby?

No, he simply wished Justin Bieber well on his upcoming tour date in Madrid.

The other week Bieber received a less than welcome show of disdain from another footballer as Joey Barton referred to him as a, and I quote; ‘a little shaved bird with earrings’ and a ‘smack addiction waiting to happen’.

Barton better watch out as David Haye was quite impressed with the 19-year-olds ability with the gloves when the two sparred for a Sky television show last year and after the Canadian’s recent run-in with a moronic paparazzo he seems pretty up for a fight at the moment.

But after seeing Bieber struggling with plenty of negative press after his London dates earlier in the month Ronaldo took it upon himself to wish him a better time in the Spanish capital:

So while Joey Barton may not be a ‘Belieber’ it appears Cristiano Ronaldo is.

At least Joey has better music taste then the Portuguese master hey?!?
