With Bacary Sagna facing an uncertain future at Arsenal, the Gunners have been linked with a host of right-backs.
This isn't to ignore the excellent development of Carl Jenkinson, but recent history has shown that injuries can strike at ill-opportune moments, and two top class players are required for each position.
One of the many alternatives for Arsenal to turn to in the summer is Daryl Janmaat.
The 23-year-old has already been capped by Holland, and is enjoying a fine run of form with Feyenoord in the Eredivisie - helping them to third in the table, just one point below league leaders Ajax.
Janmaat was previously said to be available for around £6 million, but that figure may just have gone up after his weekend performance.
He was superb against Utrecht, catching the eye with a stunning 61st minute winner which sealed a 2-1 win.
