On who will become Chairman of JPMorgan Chase if the Chairman and CEO position splits:
'What you will see is a guy named Lee Raymond the Former Exxon CEO. He’s a board member, he’s considered the top board member at JPMorgan. He would be the Chairmen if that role was split. We should also point out that this is an active discussion inside JPMorgan. Dimon believes that if this thing is split the management of the company will not materially change'.
On whether JPMorgan Chase Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon is preparing for a possible split of the position:
'Sources close to Dimon say he is preparing for the possible split of that CEO and Chairman job at JPMorgan. Dimon still believes the dual role of keeping both together in one place - which is essentially what he is doing now, is best for the company, but from what I understand he is not going to overly object if the board says you got to split'.
