Arsenal's chief executive Ivan Gazidis believes there is a ‘developing consensus’ among the 19 other Premier League clubs that their current financial model is the one to follow. UEFA’s recent Financial Fair Play regulations have brought the finances of Europe’s biggest clubs into the spotlight and as Arsenal’s financial figures show their tight ship seems to be the better way of running a club sustainably.
Arsene Wenger will pursue a new striker in the January transfer window. Despite the signing of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud not to mention the good form of Gervinho Wenger is reportedly sending his scouts into Europe to find him another player for his side. Names such as Falcao and Llorente have been hinted recently while Lewandowski, Adrian Lopez and Jovetic are also being considered.

Yesterday reports from France emanated stating how the centre-back had suffered a serious knee injury during a collision with Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery. However the injury is nowhere near as serious as first believed and he is expected to feature against Japan and Spain.
