Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has had the perfect warm up for this weekend's clash with Arsenal, scoring an international winner for his country.
He is yet to score for Tottenham in his injury-interrupted season so far, but Emmanuel Adebayor is certainly in good form for his country.
He followed up his African Nations Cup Qualifying goal last month, with a winner in Togo's friendly with Morocco last night.
It was a real thumping effort from the striker, who came out of international retirement earlier this year, and will play in the 2013 African Nations Cup.
The goal will have been exactly what he needed, but Adebayor will have to convince his boss he is not feeling any effects of the flight back and travelling when Saturday's noon kick-off comes around.
He'll certainly be up for the big match against his former club, and Spurs fans will hope he has been saving his club goals for the derby. If so, he is just getting warmed up.
