Liverpool, QPR, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are the talk of the papers today.

All the latest transfer news and gossip...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has urged Steven Gerrard to quit Liverpool and join him at PSG in pursuit of European glory. Speaking ahead of tonight's friendly between England and Sweden, he said: “Liverpool are a big club, but I would like to see Steven at a big international club, I think that would be good for England because it is very exciting when someone goes abroad and shows what he can do in another competition." Fortunately, there appears little chance of it happening, with Gerrard fully committed to Liverpool- And as he will point out to Ibrahimovic, he has his 2005 Champions League medal to savour.

QPR want to sign Nicolas Anelka, report The Sun. The 33-year-old Frenchman is unsettled at Shanghai Shenhua, but would have to take a major wage cut to join the relegation threatened Premier League outfit. West Ham are interested, but the paper claims Anelka is hoping former club Liverpool will come in for him.

From one player with a troublesome reputation to another, Joey Barton. This is good news for QPR, as Sky Sports report the Englishman wants to make his move permanent at the end of the season, but concedes the final decision will rest in the hands of the clubs. "I do not play for money, but for my club. If I were the one to decide, I would stay at Marseille."

Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony says he is interested in a move to Chelsea. The player dubbed the 'African Hulk' plays for Vitesse, and is 23 and has scored 12 in 11 games this season. His agent claims Aston Villa are also looking at him. Speaking about Chelsea, the player said: "If they want me, it would be an honour. I would like to join a club like that."

Goal.com claim that Manchester United have made in-demand Wilfried Zaha a priority. It is claimed that United are to propose a deal which would allow the newly capped England winger to remain at Crystal Palace until the end of the season. Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are all interested.

A Shakhtar Donetsk player has caught the eye of the Premier League's big clubs, and it isn't Willian. It is striker Luiz Adriano, 25, who is reported to be wanted by Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. The striker has 45 goals in just over 100 games for his club, and would come considerably cheaper than prized assets Willian and Fernandinho.

West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame has emerged as a transfer target for Newcastle, according to the Mail. The former Wigan midfielder signed on a free in the summer, but the paper claim the player has a £7 million buyout clause inserted in his contract, which has also alerted Everton.
