Brendan Rodgers has stated that striker Luis Suarez will not be leaving Liverpool. Reports in the UK daily newspapers have suggested that Manchester City are getting ready to swoop for Suarez with a massive bid to get him to join City with Edin Dzeko expected to leave in January.

Ajax coach Ronald de Boer has dangled a carrot for Liverpool by saying the club will sell Christian Eriksen for the right price. Eriksen has been linked with a move to Liverpool and other big Premier League sides and it appears that Ajax will let him go to the highest bidder which has paved the way for a Liverpool bid.

Former Liverpool player Jamie Redknapp has stated that Raheem Sterling is a bigger talent than Theo Walcott or Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain. Sterling featured from the start in England’s defeat away in Sweden and he has been a regular in the Liverpool first team across all competitions this season.

Liverpool are set to compete with Manchester United for the transfer of defender Angelo Ogbonna. The Torino back man was recently named in the full Italy senior squad and a move to Anfield could be possible with Brendan Rodgers actively looking for players to bring into his squad.

Morgan wants a chance to prove himself in the Liverpool first team which he may not be able to do if a high profile striker comes into the club. He has made three appearances for Liverpool this season in the Europa League.

Brendan Rodgers has said he is looking to add further young talent to his squad this January and Liverpool could try and steal Ince away from United if he is up for sale from Blackpool when the transfer window opens.

Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson says talk of Steven Gerrard’s demise as a top flight player is naïve and wrong. Gerrard has been criticised in the last few weeks for not taking opportunities to go and play for the best clubs around Europe. He looks set to end his career as a Liverpool legend.

Liverpool youth player Conor Coady has hailed manager Brendan Rodgers as one of the best bosses around. Coady recently made his first tam debut in the Europa League match at Anzhi and he has said Rodgers giving a chance to younger players at the club makes him believe he can soon become a Liverpool regular.
