Injuries and poor performances at left back have left Wenger looking for an alternative solution to his problem and is considering the option that has been popular at Manchester City this season.
Wenger also confirmed today that the injury to Kieran Gibbs is ‘long-term’. The young left-back was having an excellent start to the season until he picked up the thigh injury which now seems to be worse than originally thought. Tomas Rosicky also remains on this absentee list.
