Everyone has heard the names Falcao, Isco and Adrian linked with moves away in recent months while even big names such as Busquets, Villa and Benzema continue to be mentioned as potentially looking for the exit door.
But who else could be on their way from La Liga?
Here is a likely five.
Benat – Real Betis
The Real Betis midfielder has been in terrific form this season and grabbed the winning goal against Real Madrid this weekend passed. He made his international debut for the World and European champions Spain in May and has accumulated four caps since.
At the start of the season he was linked with a return to Athletic Bilbao in his Basque homeland and while The Lions have the cash from the sale of Javi Martinez his stock has risen considerably since then. Manchester City have been mentioned as having an interest in the cultured 25-year-old as have German outfit Wolfsburg.
Denis Cheryshev – Real Madrid
The son of former Russian international Dimitri Cheryshev the 21-year-old winger grew up in Spain following his old man at Sporting Gijon and Burgos before being picked up by Real Madrid. A regular for Madrid’s Castilla he recently earned his first call-up to the main squad and his first cap for Russia against the USA earlier this month.
Everton had a reported £6million rejected earlier this month and now The Toffees face competition from Getafe, Mallorca, Celta Vigo, Zenit, Anzhi, Spartak & Lokomotiv Moscow for the precocious talent.
Thibaut Courtois – Atletico Madrid
A slightly double-edged rumour as of course the Belgian stopper already ‘belongs’ to Chelsea yet may find himself at West Ham next season.
With Petr Cech still looking capable in the sticks at Stamford Bridge first-team opportunities will be sparse for the talented 20-year-old. Chelsea will not want him stagnating on the bench and with Jussi Jaaskelainen in the advent of his career a loan acquisition would be beneficial for both parties.
Javi Fuego – Rayo Vallecano
Easily one of the most under-rated players in La Liga the control the 29-year-old shows in the heart of midfield is astonishing.
Available on a free transfer in the summer Marca have listed several destinations where he may reportedly end up.
While Sevilla are the favourites; teams from across Europe such as Hoffenheim, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg, Atalanta, Sampdoria, Club Bruges and Swansea; where he could ally with former team-mate Michu once again have all been linked.
Alvaro Negredo – Sevilla
His name has been mentioned in the past but it has all gone quiet on the Negredo front in recent times. Sevilla are reportedly short of cash and the Spanish international, who averages a goal every other game in La Liga, has been mentioned in passing with North London duo Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
