Rastogi joins Quilter from Jefferies International UK where he was an equity research associate specialising in the oil and gas sectors. He has seven years of experience in financial research and evaluation and has worked for companies in India and the UK. At Quilter he will cover the beverage, tobacco and retail sectors.

Patel will focus on the media, chemical and aerospace sectors. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, having begun his financial services career in 2005. He has gained most of his experience with Henderson Global Investors in a number of roles, most recently as an analyst in global equities which predominantly focused on large-cap securities.

Wood began his career in 1998 and has held positions as a performance and risk analyst and a quantitative analyst at Capital International Limited. Prior to joining Quilter he was an investment analyst with Stamford Associates Limited where he specialised in monitoring European, US, Japanese and global equity managers as well as UK balanced fund managers. Nick is a CFA Charterholder.

Chris Beckett, Head of Research at Quilter, said: 'I am delighted that Anubhav, Amish and Nick have joined our in-house research team which now numbers 20 people. The research service is a vital part of Quilter’s proposition which is all about delivering each client with a bespoke investment strategy to meet their specific needs.

Being able to provide detailed market, stock and fund analysis is especially important as we deal with the continuing uncertainties in the global economy following the financial crisis. These latest appointments mean we are well resourced to carry out and present this analysis to our investment managers who make the decisions on portfolio construction'.
