Hunter joins Mizuho International with more than 20 years’ experience in the Japanese equity market. He was most recently Head of Japan Equities in Tokyo for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Prior to this he was Co-Head of Japanese Equities for UBS in Tokyo for the last two years of an 11 year tenure with UBS, where he held various global and pan-Asian equity positions. Andrew has an excellent track record of building and sustaining successful businesses in his sector.
Reporting directly to Michiel de Jong, President & CEO of Mizuho International in London, and in Tokyo to Yohei Osade, Global Head of Pan-Asian Equity Products and Spyridon Mentzas, Deputy Head of Pan-Asian Equity for global products, Andrew replaces Richard Hoskin who left Mizuho International in December 2012.
