Fan favoured developer releases a trailer for Jack Black-starring title.
Head banging console comedy Brutal Legend will soon be stage diving its way to PCs as developer Double Fine has released a trailer for the game's release on the new platform.
Starring Jack Black as a Metallica-like musician launched into a fantastical world of deamons, Brutal Legend is available for pre-order on Steam now, with all buyers being given access to the live PC multiplayer beta.
“Adding a PC release to Brutal Legend’s list of conquests risks raising the world’s ambient Metal saturation to dangerously high levels,” commented eccentric Double Fine President Tim Schafer, “which is why we’re conducting this closed beta test for preorders.”

Brutal Legend received broadly positive reviews upon its release on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2009, with the Daily Telegraph praising the game for reaching "triumphant heights".
"The enthusiasm and joy that was involved in crafting this game is evident in almost every single frame and it's an undeniably unique gaming experience," commented the review.
Currently, the game has a Metacritic rating of 82 on Xbox 360 and 83 on PS3, with similarly gleeful user scores.
In addition to the PC version of the game, Double Fine is also making the heavy metal inspired soutdtrack available via Steam.
