Three players David Moyes should bring to Manchester United

Marouane Fellaini

Last week it was announced that David Moyes will replace Sir Alex Ferguson as the manager of Manchester United at the end of the current season.

Now, according to several media outlets, Moyes is interested in bringing in some of the Everton players with him to the Old Trafford. Reports of a pact between the two clubs not to do so remain unverified, and such did not prevent Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers raiding Swansea last summer.

Hence, HITC analyses three Toffees stars who should be targeted by Moyes to don the red jersey of Manchester next term onwards.

1) Marouane Fellaini

A long-term United target, Marouane Fellaini is the ideal player to boost United's midfield.

Although he's been mostly played as a second-striker this season, Fellaini is a proven box-to-box midfielder who could inject the much-needed steel to the Red Devils' play.

The 25-year-old's aerial skills, robust tackling and physicality could serve as an invaluable asset to United and with Michael Carrick, the duo can form one of the most dominant midfield pairings in England.

2) Kevin Mirallas

One of the best Everton players this season, Kevin Mirallas is a skilful and lively winger who could finally bring about the menace down the United flanks.

All of United's wingers have heavily underperformed this season and after an excellent debut season in England, during which he has scored nine goals in all competitions, Mirallas is only bound to improve in the coming years.

However, with Wilfried Zaha arriving from Crystal Palace and United showing little intentions of selling Ashley Young or Antonio Valencia, it's hard to see Mirallas plying trades at the Theatre of Dreams next term.

3) Ross Barkley

A transfer target for the future, Ross Barkley is a 19-year-old midfielder who has shown loads of promise in his limited appearances for Everton's first-team.

Technically adept, confident on the ball and a great vision to pick out teammates, Barkley can fit in well in United's two-man midfield.

His decision-making still has large scope for improvement but as aforementioned, Barkley is a prospect for the future and can develop exceptionally well under the guidance of Moyes as well as players like Michael Carrick at Old Trafford.
