Spaniards rave on Twitter about Tottenham man Iago Falque as he helps Almeria to win

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Iago Falque took part in a crucial match this evening for his loan side.

We told earlier this week how for one Tottenham Hotspur man, his club season is continuing.

Iago Falque was loaned to Spanish second division side Almeria in January, who are still battling via the play-offs for the final promotion spot for La Liga.

They won their semi-final against Las Palmas at the weekend, progressing to a two-legged final against Girona.

The first leg was held this evening (19/6), with Falque getting the nod from the start.

Almeria won the contest 1-0, thanks to a 50th minute goal from Brazilian striker Charles Dias.

Falque had a hand in the goal, helping turn a Girona corner into a fast-paced counter attack with a defence splitting pass to Dias who played a one-two with Miguel Corona before poking past the onrushing goalkeeper.

Girona missed a penalty late on, and Falque's Almeria side held onto claim a crucial victory on away soil, before Saturday's second leg at their ground.

Falque's involvement certainly impressed a number of watching Spaniards on Twitter who took to the social networking site to praise the Tottenham attacker.

Here is what they had to say:

For non-Spanish speakers, the comments translate as describing Falque's passing as 'tremendous', 'spectacular', 'class', and 'extravagant.'

High praise indeed. But don't just take their comments as proof of Falque's passing skills, watch it on the video below.

You have to wait until the replay shown after 40 seconds to see the whole move which includes Falque's superb pass from his own penalty area...

Do you think Falque deserves a chance at Spurs next season?
