Collecting stickers and putting them into an album let’s every grown up reminisce about the good old days where one could buy packets at the kiosk down the street with some candy from his leftover pocket money.
There was a reason why these times were so great except from not to worry about paying the bills. It becomes clear when one find the answer to the question, what modern football is missing? Definitively not pace, technique, money and media coverage but style.
When was the last time someone’s patience totally snapped in front of the camera? Sure there are some harsh words here and there, but a real meltdown on national TV? It could have been 10 or 20 years ago – a great time to be a part of.
It was the time were men were with tremendous hair and flashy moustaches.
The funny website old school Panini from France have put together an art gallery of all the classic football stickers to celebrate these days and we took pride to present a small highlight for you.
