West Ham, Fulham, Wolfsburg, Hamburg, Sparta Prague or ...? Where could Tomas Rosicky end up next season?
This summer sees an abundance of Premier League stars currently becoming free agents as their contracts at their respective clubs reach their natural conclusion.
Of course there is still plenty of time in the season for them to earn new deals with their respective clubs - but in a little over a month’s time they can begin to talk to clubs freely, without needing the permission of their current employers under the Bosman ruling.
So who could Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky sign on the dotted line for - if the injury prone Czech doesn’t play enough games to signal a contract renewal this season?
West Ham United
The Hammers have already been linked with a move to sign the Czech midfield maestro in the English and Czech press - and he would be an excellent signing for The Hammers.
A combative, experienced but stylish midfielder able to link defence to midfield and midfield to attack he is every managers dream.
If they can stump up the wages then who knows…?
This Bundesliga outfit is one ambitious, hungry monster.
They shocked everyone last summer by snapping up Luiz Gustavo but they want more - as they try to finally establish themselves as perennial European contenders.
Rosicky has played in Germany before with Borussia Dortmund - so it is not beyond the realms of possibility.
His boyhood club are going through a dry spell - with no silverware since 2010. They need a boost, and snapping up a returning hero would be the tonic for their current dysfunctions.
However, Rosicky would need to take a large pay-cut in order to return home.
Another Bundesliga option, but this one perhaps even more likely as Bert van Marwijk is the coach at the Imtech Arena.
The former Dutch head coach managed Rosicky at Dortmund and would certainly love to reunite with him.
Rafael van der Vaart and Rosicky in the same midfield - HSV would have to start being taken seriously.
Another option in case he just wanted to stay in London and finish his career here.
He fits the Fulham bill of style and guile but much will depend on The Cottagers retaining their Premier League status.
Should Arsenal offer Rosicky a new contract?
