AS Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray or...? Where could Sagna end up next season?
This summer sees an abundance of Premier League stars currently becoming free agents as their contracts at their respective clubs reach their natural conclusion.
Of course there is still plenty of time in the season for them to earn new deals with their respective clubs - but in a little over a month’s time they can begin to talk to clubs freely, without needing the permission of their current employers under the Bosman ruling.
If you are an experience French international whose wages are going to cost a bundle this summer - likelihood is that Monaco will be linked with your signature.
The principality have recently found out the hard way that they are slightly off the Paris-Saint Germain pace - and that even more reinforcements are needed at the club.
Sagna could be one such reinforcement.
We have all heard about the mutual interest in making this deal happen. Sagna has liked the idea of playing for PSG 0 while the French champions would love to have another French international in the mix.
However since the original interest Gregory van der Wiel has come good - so Sagna may no longer be needed.
Sagna’s cousin Ibrahima Sonko plays in Turkey - so could Sagna go and join him?
He has been linked with a move to Istanbul already, and the club would certainly be able to afford him.
Roberto Mancini would surely love to sure up his defence with an experienced operator like the Arsenal star.
There is of course another option in Istanbul - as Fenerbahce also present a promising package.
They have also been heavily linked with a move, and he could play in worse places that is for sure.
The French giants have a habit for picking up old French stalwarts near the advent of their career - and they will surely be interested in Sagna to be their right-back in 2014-15.
Should Arsenal give Sagna a new contract?
