Arsenal and Chelsea could have a surprise competitor for one of Europe's most prolific strikers: Barcelona.
It has long been no secret that the Catalans want to expand their forward options, and the injury to Lionel Messi is thought to have accelerated those plans.
The latest reports from the continent claim that Jackson Martinez of Porto is on their radar.
Spanish newspaper Sport relay that Barcelona sent scouts to the Dragao at the weekend, perfectly timed as they were able to see the striker score in a 1-1 draw with Nacional.
A move for the striker would represent a dramatic shift in transfer policy to another suggested Barcelona move from last week, a bargain pick-up of Fulham's Dimitar Berbatov.
Martinez has nine goals in 14 games this season for Porto, who maintain he can leave, only if a club meets his £34.8 million release clause.
Inter Milan have also been strongly linked, having been taken over last month by billionaire Erick Thohir.
We do have one request for Barcelona, who are unbeaten in all competitions this season: May be let somebody else have him - and give the rest of Europe a chance...
