Daniele De Rossi believes that Juventus' advantage over Roma in the Scudetto race is owed to favourable refereeing decisions.
Roma started the season the stronger and stormed off to a record-breaking 10 consecutive wins to open the campaign.
However, the Giallorossi came back down to earth with a series of draws before their 2-1 win over Fiorentina and now trail Juventus three points at the top of the Serie A table.
"Juventus have been fortunate with referees," De Rossi told the Roma Channel.
"Our goal at first was to qualify for the Champions League but now we aren't going to stop.
"We want to catch Juventus. After the first 10 games we were charged but the moment isn't over, it has just been interrupted - we came up against goalkeepers having the games of their lives and unlucky refereeing decisions.
"At the moment the team ahead of us have had the luck with the refereeing but it will even up at the end of the season."
Roma have a crunch match on Monday as they travel to San Siro to face a struggling AC Milan side.
Giallorossi talisman Francesco Totti is expected to return to the starting line-up for Rudi Garcia after a lengthy injury layoff.
