Liverpool target issues come and get me plea

Cristian Tello

Barcelona attacker Cristian Tello has admitted that he wants first-team football and could leave Camp Nou to get it.

Liverpool have been handed an encouraging sign in their pursuit of Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, with the attacker admitting that he could leave Camp Nou.

The 22-year-old forward has been repeatedly linked with the Anfield club, with Brendan Rodgers thought to been keen to sign the Spanish youngster.

Tello has only started two La Liga fixtures this season and has only featured in 225 minutes of football collectively.

As such, he has admitted that an exit from the Catalan side could well be an option.

“I am young and I want to play,” he told Sport.

“If I do not succeed at Barcelona, I will assess my situation at the end of the season.”

He went on to admit that a January transfer is not an option.

“I am grateful to this club. I am not thinking of changing clubs when the market reopens.”

Tello recently signed a new contract with Barca, but seemingly a move away from the club could be on the cards next summer if his time on the pitch does not increase.

Should Liverpool move for Tello next summer?
