Transfer talk: Featuring Dempsey, Higuain and Barry

Transfer news from Everton, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Fulham and Chelsea.

Everton will reportedly not offer Gareth Barry a deal in the winter as they intend to honour their agreement with Manchester City which stated they would wait until the summer to begin negotiations with the player.

Barry, on a season long loan from City at Goodison Park, sees his contract at The Etihad expire next summer but Martinez says they will not rock the boat.

Bacary Sagna is out of contract next summer - and is now expected to leave the club. An unknown Turkish club, Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco are said to be the favourites to snap him up this summer as he is unhappy with the offer of a two-year extension.

Manchester United are ready to move for Adam Lallana. The Southampton star has been in incredible form this season and recently made his way into the England squad.

United want to snap up the player to help bolster their faltering midfield - however the 25-year-old, who got married on Christmas Eve, is expected to be difficult to convince to leave St Marys.

Manchester United are also said to be chasing Koke once again. The 21-year-old has been a standout performer for the high-flying Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid - and has reportedly signed off on a £30 million bid for his services.

Clint Dempsey has completed his deal to Fulham. The MLS side Seattle Sounders have sanctioned a two-month loan deal during the off-season. He left Fulham for Tottenham Hotspur in acrimonious fashion back in 2012.

Chelsea are said to be lining up a shock swoop for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentine, who was a new arrival at Napoli just this summer gone, is said to be the subject of a £48 million interest from his former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.
