The north London club are likely to have a quiet transfer window according to the new manager.
Tottenham have been consistently linked with a host of new players as the January transfer window looms large, however it appears that new manager Tim Sherwood is relatively happy with the squad at his disposal.
The former Spurs midfielder has stated that he will not look to bring in a lot of players in the new year, and even suggested that the problem area of left-back would not be bolstered.
"The ability is there to do it, if we really need to. The only reason we would look to do it at the moment is because of our crippling injury list,” he told Sky Sports.
"What I don't want to do is collect players for three or four weeks and then you end up with them for the rest of the season and two or three years on.
"If boys like (Zeki) Fryers can come in and do a job, then we will go with them."
Do Tottenham need to bolster in January?
