Henrik Larsson is a legend of the game. By the time he hung up his boots, the former Swedish international striker had netted an outstanding 325 goals in 576 matches.

In a career that included spells at Feyenoord, Celtic (where he will always be a legend) and Barcelona, Larsson proved one undeniable and vital thing – he knew exactly where the goal was and, more importantly, how to get the ball in it.

His loan spell at Manchester United in 2007 was one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s more leftfield transfer dealings, and yet his influence on the team in his brief spell was undeniable.

And now his son, Jordan Larsson, is said to be generating interest from Old Trafford.

According to the Daily Mail, the 16-year-old attacking midfielder is being watched closely by United, as he continues his development at Swedish side Hogaborgs BK.

Larsson senior only played 13 matches under Ferguson, but David Moyes may have the chance to take another player by that name for considerably longer.
