The Brazil international is off to Fiorentina on loan but wanted to say farewell to the Old Trafford faithful before heading to Florence.
Manchester United have allowed fringe midfielder Anderson to go on loan to Italian side Fiorentina for the rest of the season, as the Brazilian has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since David Moyes’ appointment.
The former Porto man will spend the rest of the campaign at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, with Vincenzo Montella’s men having the option to buy the South American this summer.
Despite not always living up to his potential in Manchester, Anderson was a popular figure in the dressing room and has written a heartfelt letter on Instagram to the club’s fans and players, thanking them for everything during his time at Old Trafford.
With Moyes keen to add central midfielders to his squad and Anderson not living up to his billing in the Premier League, there is every chance that he has played his last game for United and this is his farewell to the club.
Has Anderson played his last game for United?
