A new photograph has been circulating through social media networks depicting a shirt that will no doubt rile Tottenham Hotspur fans.

It was an action that sparked a reaction…

A simple gesture that divided football pundits as ITV studio commentators were asked at the time, a fortnight ago, after Arsenal oversaw Tottenham Hotspur to progress into the fourth round of the FA Cup - 'could you argue he was inciting a riot?'

He, of course, was Theo Walcott, the gesture was an act of mimicking a zero sign with one hand and two fingers with another - not the rude V sign, but a reminder of the score, aimed at the Spurs supporters in the away end at the Emirates Stadium.

As Walcott was stretchered off the field, coins and plastic bottles hailed on to the pitch.

It was a seemingly harmless gesture but, because of the situation, it provoked a reaction.

According to various photographs circulating through social media, Arsenal are so aware that Walcott - lauded a hero by Piers Morgan - is held in such high esteem with the red and white fan-base that a new addition to the Armoury store will immortalise the act…
