- Schalke, Germany
Rumours rebounded around Twitter that the Gunners boss was on his way to Germany to make a £36,999,999 bid in person for Schalke starlet Julian Draxler. Although the 20-year-old German's release clause is understood to be £37 million, the boss believes with a little charm he can drive down the price substantially.

The 64-year-old reportedly boarded a Boeing 747 heading west as the staff at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton prepared for his imminent arrival to complain in person about the zips on Nike coats. Hopes he has plans to sign a new deal to stay on at the Emirates hang in the balance as the club’s sponsor could be dropped unless the boss can agree terms over the addition of Velcro on the inner lining.
Representatives from Velcro have made contact with the sportswear giant over a potential partnership but the deal could be scrapped over fears the proposed kit for the 2014/15 season will have to be altered to include Velcro shorts which the FA have said breaches its regulations.
The new kit was tested at London Colney last March and Wenger was keen for the deal to go ahead after remarking it helped the players stick together. In fact Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker have been inseparable ever since.
There are concerns as to whether this will have an impact on their inclusion in the World Cup this summer as they will have to register to play for either France or Germany. The German's are the favourites, given Koscielny's international suspension but Didier Deschamps is expected to appeal against the decision by FIFA.
- Madrid, Spain
Florentino Perez has revealed in the last 10 minutes that the cheque signed by chief executive Ivan Gazidis dated September 2nd 2013 for the amount of £42.5 million has bounced. The Real Madrid president was reportedly ‘livid’ and wants answers from Wenger on the sale of Mesut Ozil.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti hopes the La Liga giants can now bring the German playmaker back to the Bernabeu and get a refund for Gareth Bale from Tottenham.
Reports suggest Spurs are willing to offer them seven players and a manager as part of a package deal. According to Marca, Bale was seen crying in the toilets at the Bernabeu after Luka Modric told him Tim Sherwood is an Arsenal fan.

The Gunners boss has in fact been planning a ‘sight-seeing’ trip in Roswell for some time. He is known to be an avid investigator of Unidentified Flying Objects. He was seen on Holloway Road prior to his departure purchasing some binoculars and it is thought he is interested in uncovering the truth behind the ‘superhuman’ form of Aaron Ramsey.
He is hopeful that the same intergalactic life forms the Welshman made contact with over the summer will be willing to run some tests on Nicklas Bendtner who has been scheduled for a medical. However, representatives of Jupiter United have denied interest in signing the Dane who had requested a move to a 'big club' last week after turning down a loan move to Uranus Rangers.
Have you seen Arsene Wenger?
