Should Manchester United really be looking a gift horse in the mouth?
The report focuses on Inter Milan's push to sign Nani from United, a loan deal which could still come off - with the winger finding the only thing more inconsistent than his form, is his selection in the starting line-up.
As part of negotiations, the paper claim Fredy Guarin has been offered to the Red Devils.
They write: "They have asked for a loan with a view to a permanent deal and may try to tempt United again with Fredy Guarin.
"United boss David Moyes has so far snubbed offers to take the Colombian."
Guarin has been made available for transfer after his agent pushed him towards a Chelsea move, which fell through, as did a switch to Juventus.
Yet the midfielder, 27, had been a near regular for Inter until the transfer window, and scored the winning goal in the Milan derby at the end of 2013.
With United's central options so poor that 40-year-old Ryan Giggs was preferred to Tom Cleverley in midweek, it's amazing David Moyes sees fit to turn down the international midfielder.
As the paper state, Inter will try again - unclear whether offering Guarin on loan or permanently, and the reasoning for the snub could be simply a financial one, the Red Devils disliking terms.
From a footballing perspective, there really is no reason to turn down Guarin with United attempting to revitalise their season - and with under 48 hours remaining in the transfer window.
Should Moyes sign Guarin? What do you think?
