The Argentina international scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 Coppa Italia win over Lazio for Rafa Benitez’s charges.

Arsenal head into the last days of the transfer window looking for a striker, with most of the Emirates Stadium faithful probably wishing they had Gonzalo Higuain on their books.

The Argentina international was a target for Arsene Wenger’s men in the summer, but ended up sealing a move to Napoli.

The former Real Madrid man continued his goal streak in Italy on Wednesday night, scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia.

The ingenious flick sent Rafa Benitez’s side through to the quarter-finals of the cup tournament, where they will come up against Roma in a glamour tie.

Higuain’s goal came in the minute, breaking what looking destined to be a stalemate.
