Your kids are excited for the movie, why not let them play the official tie-in game - It'll lower the chance of you stepping on Lego bricks when barefooted.
The inevitable tie-in game to the upcoming The LEGO Movie is almost here. Set for release in the UK on 14th February (already out in North America, you lucky lot), released alongside the movie, and it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day!
The game puts you in control of Emmet, ‘an ordinary LEGO mini figure mistakenly thought to be “The Special” – a character prophesied to save the world from an evil LEGO tyrant’, so say the developers. You will be able to use the abilities of over 90 characters straight from the movie, including Batman… You get to play as Batman! ‘Nuff said! Where do I buy this?
There are 15 levels for the console version, and 45 missions for the handheld version of the game, which are voiced by actors from the movie, including; Chris Platt; Morgan Freeman; and Will Ferrell, amongst others.
The official game of the movie is sure to be a hit, with the ever-growing franchise of popular LEGO games out there like, LEGO The Lord of the Rings, LEGO Star Wars, and LEGO Breaking Bad…Yes, I made that last one up – but I am holding out hope!
Check out the action-packed trailer below, and go play with your kids’ LEGOs (or your own, if your a 35-year old man-child) until it’s released on the 14th!
Absolutely brickin' it!
The LEGO Movie Videogame will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstion 3, Playstation 4, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, and PC.
