CONFIRMED: Fulham & Newcastle United line-ups

Fulham Craven Cottage

Here is how Fulham and Newcastle United will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Fulham starting XI: Stockdale, Heitinga, Hangeland, Amorebieta, Richardson, Kasami, Kvist, Sidwell, Kacaniklic, Holtby, Woodrow

Subs: Stekelenburg, Riise, Rodallega, Dejagah, Roberts, Riether, Burn

Newcastle United starting XI: Krul, Yanga-Mbiwa, Coloccini, Williamson, Dummett, Sissoko, Anita, Tiote, Gouffran, de Jong, Cisse

Subs: Alnwick, Haidara, S. Taylor, Marveaux, Gosling, Armstrong, Shola Ameobi

Bottom of the table Fulham know just how vital three points are this afternoon. Considering that Sunderland have three games in hand over the Cottagers, and that both West Brom and Crystal Palace have played a game less than Felix Magath’s side, the chance of them surviving is incredibly slim.

But they escaped a more dire situation under Roy Hodgson so fans will no doubt be keeping their fingers crossed for a while longer yet.

Fulham actually have a fine recent record against Newcastle United, with today’s hosts winning the last four home games against the Magpies…and six of the last seven.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew begins his suspension this afternoon, while Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy are both unavailable through injury.

What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
