VIDEO: De Gea's brilliant double save which setup United win

David De Gea Spain

David De Gea produced a world class double save last night for Manchester United as they dumped Olympiakos out of the Champions League.

David De Gea deserves massive praise for his performance against Olympiakos last night, pulling off a world class double save which turned out to make a difference after the 90 minutes were up.

The Spaniard has been one of United’s more consistent players so far this season and show great speed, agility and reaction time to make one block, before switching positions to keep the ball out with his foot.

Had De Gea failed to keep the ball out, Olympiakos would have grabbed an away goal, United could have been dumped out and the positive feeling surrounding the club this morning would be lost.

There has been a little bit of chatter in the rumour mill that De Gea could be heading back to Spain in the foreseeable future but that’s something David Moyes simply can’t allow to happen.
