Sony's super-powered PS4 exclusive beats out new Metal Gear offering to top spot.
Last week the superhero title drummed up considerable interest with a gameplay video showing off the authoritarian world of Infamous, with the government cracking down on super-powered youths.
Both aforementioned new entries pushed EA's mega hit Titanfall down to third place, with Chart-Track reporting that sales dropped 73%.
The final new title to enter the top 20 this week was Square Enix's Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. The PS3 and Vita title contributed to South Park: The Stick of Truth's decline from third to fifth.
The evergreen FIFA 14 held onto its position at number six, as Dark Souls II dropped five places to come in seventh followed by The Lego Movie Videogame at eight.
Closing off the top ten was Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition at nine and ten respectively.
