Another 'done deal' which isn't quite - Josip Drmic has indicated there is no agreement in place for him to sign for Arsenal at present.
The Swiss striker did however say that a switch to play for the Gunners would be a 'dream'.
He is reported by Metro as saying: "At the moment, I’m single. There is no one house-hunting in London.
"What will happen in the future, I don’t know. Any boy dreams about playing for Arsenal."
This was in response to claims 24 hours earlier made on Sky Germany by Lothas Matthaus that his wife had been house-hunting in London ahead of a deal.
Drmic's comments regarding his lack of a significant other blows a major hole in the transfer claim, seemingly clarifying that there is no present deal to speak of.
His claims that he would like any kid, 'dream' of playing for Arsenal, bode well for any approach from the Gunners for his services this summer.
The 21-year-old is valued at around £7 million, and has scored 16 goals for Nuremburg this season in 27 games.
A Swiss international with two goals in five appearances, he is likely to feature at the World Cup this summer for Ottmar Hitzfeld's side, netting both his goals in their recent friendly win over Croatia earlier in March.
Do Arsenal need a more proven striker than Drmic?
